Site UpdatesJanuary 16, 2008 Update for Jan 15 had failed because of Berkeley blocking my user agent that retrieves the stats pages. Resolved by changing the user agent name. But, this means Berkeley might think that my stats update is using too much of their bandwidth. I thought SETIatWork is actually helping to reduce their bandwidth usuage by diverting away users from their site ... or maybe they want more traffic? November 20, 2007 Modification done and stats update in progress. However, more works need to be done to approximately distribute the results among the past three days. November 19, 2007 Looks like Berkeley has actually moved the users listing to a separate page. I would need to modify the script to accommdate the change ... and doing it now. November 18, 2007 The team stats have not been updated since last Friday because Berkeley's SETI team stats page contain no users listing data after their planned power outage. See this page for example. I don't know if they are aware of it. Hopefully, they will fix the problem by Monday. Other stats sites are not affected because they use the daily XML data while SETIatWork depends on the live data. July 11, 2006 SETIatWork is back online. However, I failed to recover the list of teams from the downed server. If you wish to continue having your team's statistics here, please send me a message with your team ID or team name. June 1, 2006 SETIatWork went offline after the sponsoring ISP's data center suffered from a fire accident. |
